Affinity Designer

Affinity designer has been out for quite some time now. Much like most new programs users will either spend time learning the tools on their own or be stumped as to where to start! Luckily, Affinity Designer tutorials have begun to pop up! So Today we are going to take a look at a few personal favorites and how to get started!

Affinity Design Tutorials
Frankentoon

Frankentoon is a personal favorite of mine because of his new age 2D artistic style. In the “Toon Lab” you will find some Affintiy Designer tutorials on 2D character creation and an intro to 2D background creation. Also make sure to subscribe so that you can receive some free 2D assets as well! This would be a great starting point for those interested in 2D cartoon design and 2D game design.

Affinity Designer Tutorials (Serif Official Website)

Over at the official Affinity site is a collection of tutorials for those getting started with the program. Use this as another starting point in order to familiarize yourself with the software. Learn multiple different things like UI/UX snapping for web design corner tools, viewpoints and much more. This is a great starting point for beginners and UI/UX designers.

EnvatoTuts+

EnvatoTuts+ has quite a few Affinity Designer tutorials for beginners. Mostly 2D character creation tutorials but there are a few gems on this page. These gems would be, label creation, app interface design and icon design. Yet another great place to learn about 2D design and UI design.

Visual Learning

Don’t want to read and label yourself more of a visual learner? Vimeo has tons of Affinity Designer tutorials. Check it out and learn more advanced features such as real time embedded document editing.

Have your own favorites? Post them down in the comments!

Happy Designing!
