For the past few weeks we’ve been talking about no code web development software. So today we have the final contender in the no code web building software platform: RapidWeaver 7. Much like Blocs, RapidWeaver is only available for Mac. Much like its counterparts, RapidWeaver allows designers to build quick websites from their designs and an unlimited amount of websites at that.
RapidWeaver just went through a makeover in version 7 updating the user interface and several other functions as well. The interface looks more user friendly and up to date in comparison to most apps/software. All tools and built pages are displayed to the left of your workspace. The team behind RapidWeaver has also added auto CSS and JS coding to the automated scripts the program creates. This definitely helps to add more functions such as sliders, live video previews and much more.
Aside from the multiple themes the software comes with, it also allows for add-ons allowing users to add extra functionality to their websites. A great example of this is designing an e commerce site. Some add-on are free to install and others come at an extra cost.
Another great function of RapidWeaver is that, much like Blocs, each site has SEO generated to it as well as allowing users to edit the SEO functions of their site.
RapidWeaver is available for Mac with a retail price of $59. Definitely a cost effective software for building sites or even just to play around with.
